Where to start with this series? In a nutshell, BUY IT!!! This is seriously one of the best value for money, bang for buck games I have ever played. It's sandbox and there's no real plot which actually does this game so many favours in terms of unending fun.

Think 3rd person Skyrim style hack n slash combat but mostly on horseback and at the same time commanding your own army of anything from 1 to hundreds of soldiers.

Admittedly the engine feels a bit ages considering this is a game from 2009-2010 but it's like they focused less on the graphics of the game and more on the mechanics.

There's one annoying grudge i do have with this whole thing is that don't get suckered like i did with the original Mount and Blade and this expansion Warband, don't bother with the original because this is the same game with enhancements, more weapons, better graphics and more content. It seems more like a glorified patch than an expansion, getting this you wont be missing anything from the original.
