Faithful remake, just needs bugs ironed out.

This is an incredible remake. It fixes all the problems with the original game and it adds its own bells & whistles along with it as well! You got a proper save system now, JP and US soundtracks are options now, Tails as an unlockable character, leaderboards, improved visuals and widescreen.

If you have 5 bucks to spare, I highly recommend it!

This game is pretty much fanservice. The levels are nostalgic and don't feel completely rehashed (I'm looking at you, Sonic 4: Episode 1), the OST is great excluding like two tracks, the level design is top-notch, Modern Sonic plays a hell of a lot better than in Unleashed and Colors and the game just seems to be endless considering the fact that SEGA doesn't seem to mind fans releasing modifications for the game.

If you have a chance to snatch this, do it. You won't regret your decision, other than a few little nitpicks you may have throughout the main game.
