A very fine, if very easy Metroidvania. I'd recommend it to someone who's never played a game in the genre as a first experience. Gameplay is solid, has some secrets, and the challenge is adequate. Music is a bit bland and forgettable, but the art is great.

Check it out if you like Metroidvanias or have never played one before.

Black Mesa is a game about a pizza delivery guy on his first tryout delivery.

All jokes aside, this game is everything a remake/remaster needs to be from start to finish. It takes everything from the original and improves on it; this is without a doubt Half-Life through and through, and the soundtrack just makes it even better!

Just be sure not to try and 100% the game, especially on your first playthrough... That pizza box is the stuff of nightmares..
