An improvement over the (already phenomenal) first game. I felt that the ending was a bit weak and lacked build-up (but that, at least in part, might have to do with the fact that after a couple hundred hours in Early Access and a fresh playthrough on release I got to the end bit too fast). But otherwise more than a worthy successor to OG Hades.

Genuinely one of the best gaming experiences I've had in years; a game like no other. I highly recommend - insist, actually - going into this one completely blind, without looking up anything, watching videos, reading actual reviews. It might start out confusing, but very soon you will understand why people praise it so much, while being so vague.

To add a bit more meat to recommendation without spoiling anything, here is the best way I can describe OW. You know how really good adventure games would occasionally hint to some secret areas via lore/environment to catch your interest, so that when you find them it's not just luck or tedious dredging, it's your wits and attention and work, so you earn that little feeling of triumph? In Outer Wilds the whole game is that.

The single player campaign has no right being as good as it is.
