Wish I could leave a neutral review. There's a great foundation here with a house that never got finished sitting on top of it. Game would be made a lot better with more weapon variety or even just making some of the weapons in it more useful. Once you unlock the incind shotgun and machine gun you really have no reason to use anything else. Lack of sideways and backwards spring hampers movement and so does the low stamina when you aren't on a kill chain. The open air combat arenas basically do not work even once you get into the medium difficulties because of how horrendously inaccurate the guns are. You can tell that the shooting was designed with the first few story missions in mind on standard difficulty by how jarring the gameplay shift is when you have to figure out how to cloak and bullet time your way to an enemy 75m away while you're constantly 1hp because you cannot do anything to an enemy more than about 25m from you. I'll probably finish this game piece by piece but when an hour here is a slog and we have so many great boomer shooters to choose from I really wish I didn't have to put this down. If you get this game for 10 on sale there's certainly a lot of missions and an excellent story here, just don't expect gunplay on the level of Doom, Cultic, Quake, or games a cut above this one

They gotta fix it

Honestly, I bought this game a long time ago because it seemed pretty decent, playable and I was a fan of wave horde shooters so I put money down on it. Now, I can't even play it. It's not like I'm saying "Oh man it's so bad I don't wanna play". No, I literally cannot play. You can't connect to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ online server. I've had to delete all local content 3 times before I learned I can't use filters while browsing servers too. I'm not sure what the issue with it is but it has been this way for a while where it is literally impossible to connect to a server. All the things other people have mentioned are true too, but I just wanted to chime in that not even being able to use half the game's functions is a possibility too, not to mention that there seems to be less than 200 people even playing in the first place

Update: I tried some singleplayer just because I was bored, crashed once on startup, started again, crashed mid game. If I could get this game refunded I'd give it to a cancer charity to help prevent things like this in the future

I can't exactly tell you anything that hasn't already been said. But if you're still on the fence after all the other reviews let this be the one to stop you. If you're a long time Fallout fan like myself do NOT buy this hoping for a Fallout game. Don't buy this hoping for a game worth 60 dollars either. This is a stripped down game that has a third of what it should. If you want a good Fallout experience buy New Vegas and then add the, what, 3 maybe 4 mods that Fallout 4 stole as "ground breaking" ideas for its new game. And then download all the other mods you want. But the point is, the base game of New Vegas has almost two to three times the content 4 does. And that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sad.
