I only have 1.5 hours in the game so far but I can tell already that the attention to detail and respect for the series is here in spades. The VR mechanics feel brilliant, each encounter has many potential approaches and controls feel satisfying. One really nice attention to detail was when I was viewing a cityscape it gave an achievement based on that! That really shows that they had VR style gameplay in mind.

Thief is one of the greatest gaming series of all time and it lends itself incredibly well to VR, I'm extremely happy to say that this is a faithful addition to the series and I really hope it's the first of a whole VR series. Amazing stuff!!!

Much better than you'd expect. The graphics aren't great and it's very much an indie game but if you enjoy old school RPG games then you'll enjoy this. It's non-pretentious, has some nice VR mechanics, overall feels good, and even has some comedy that lands well.

I can't quite put my finger on why but I've enjoyed this game much more than most VR games in a while. No individual part is really notable but it comes together very well into a nice package. Well worth playing if you're not hell bent on the absolute best graphics out there. The devs should release it for quest also tbh, I'd like to see them make more money their hard work on a very good game.

Honestly, it's the most overrated VR game out there and I don't understand why. I was very hyped about this game up until launch, and I have tried to play it multiple times over the last year...it's just bad.

The best and worst part of the game is the physics. The physics, when they work, are great. but the developers decided to put physics into everything and it leaves you fighting against the physics and it just is incredibly frustrating. I don't see the benefit to your body have such strict physics, it makes climbing up onto platforms a pain in the ass. dumb things happen like you try to reload while crouching but your arms are colliding with the ground so you can. The guns are by far the worst feeling in any VR game I've ever played, it feels like you're aimming in water.

If they had just left the body collision and physics similar to other games, and had normal satisfying gun mechanics, then this would probably be amazing. I want to like it so bad.

I'm sure some will say it's my fault for not playing the game "right" or something but I'm just giving my honest opinion of my experience. I'm glad other people like it, I wish I was one of them.

Probably the best example of a remaster to date. It retains everything that was great about the original, while improving on it in the ways that make sense while not losing any of the original charm.

Absolutely incredible, I couldn't be happier. The price point is perfect, the release of the source code is an incredible gesture that they didn't even need to do. This is just beautiful. I never thought I'd see the day when EA released a title that was so consumer friendly and in tune with the community.

If a RA2 remaster is in the works then it might just undo all the damage that 2020 has caused.

I would buy this just on the grounds of wanting to support good consumer friendly practice if nothing else. That said, the game itself is an absolute blast. 10/10.

So yeah, I like it. One of best gaming communities out there. The game isn't without its flaws and the developers direction (or lack thereof) can often be massively frustrating but overall I keep coming back and enjoying it.

I'd highly recommend getting involved with a group of players, check out the official forums to find some.

Timeless classic. I've bought this game a few times over the years and it's always been worth it everytime.

Great game with huge replay value. If you haven't played this already then you should get on it as it's one of the greatest gems in gaming history!!
