I'm a fan of strategy games but wasn't really into autobattlers until I played Mechabellum. The game is surprisingly deep. To win, you have to rely on:

Army composition

Countering your opponent and predicting its moves,

Positioning of your units

Luck (some special powers or unit drop can drastically change the momentum of the game).


If you're like me and remember playing Advance Wars during your childhood or if you're a fan of chess, this game has similarities with both that makes it pretty enjoyable as a casual or competitive game. Enjoy !
