It's a game about killing people and taking their hard-earned stuff more often than they do said thing to you!

I am the cancer that plagues this game, and you WILL feel my trigger-nade wrath! :3

May be fun, but is misleading. This is NOT a proper co-op/multiplayer game, multiplayer functionality FORCES you to split-screen your OWN monitor.

Incredibly sad, was looking forward to playing this with friends. I'm sure the games great but this is misleading and wasted 40 minutes of my time.

Thanks

Some background,
I've been playing CRPGS since I was young. Playing the original Baldur's Gate, the sequel, and both Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2. I've spent countless hours playing Dungeon and Dragons across a variety of iterations, so I'm fairly familiar with the source material for BG3.
TL;DR, this masterpiece is, in it's current state a 9/10. With time and the definitive edition (as they did for Divinity Original Sin 2) this game will likely become a 10/10.

If you've played other Larian Studios CRPGS, the biggest difference to note when entering BG3 is the tone. When playing Divinity Original Sin 2, it conveys a somewhat cartoonish, light-hearted, goofy aspect in a lot faucets.
BG3 is an incredibly mature game, and I'm not talking solely about the sexual encounters (although their are plenty). The brutality and depravity you experience and can actively participate in is a welcoming change. I've never played a game that allowed you to experience both extremes of morality while also allowing a middle-ground if desired, it is incredible.

Speaking of the story, it has been masterfully written. The motion-capture along with smooth, relatable banter allows the elevation minuscule NPCs to something live and capturing. Every decision has rippling effects and has (with minor exceptions) been fully fleshed out, stereo-typically reaching into multiple acts of the game.

Combat is in-depth and allows a variety of solutions to every combat situation. I've heard some pathetic reviewers complaining about how "stale" and "straight forward" the combat can be, which is complete insanity. You can pick up dead goblins and have them in your inventory, then use them as projectiles, if that's not creative freedom I don't know what is.
I could write so much more about this game, and how it's a breath of fresh-air in a world of pathetic, money-grabbing game developers who don't give a single ♥♥♥♥ about your experience; but this review is already long enough.

Buy the game, it's great and you'll get at-least 50 hours out of your first play-through.
