I love this game, it's nearly a 10/10. The setting is amazing, gameplay is fun, rich and complex. The voice acting (where applicable) is extraordinary and it's a shame the game is not fully voiced. The DLCs thus far have been amazing offering new ways to play, interesting items and a lot of lore about the world.

I think where this game falls flat a little is act 3. It is a slog and it was not particularly enjoyable to play, I loved the setting and I get why they did it this way, but it is misery. This game perfectly relays the world of 40k IMO and I cannot recommend it enough.

I love this franchise dearly, the IP dearly but this game is so poorly managed by the developers that it's laughably bad. Overpriced; lacking content DLC releases (which have gotten a bit better overtime) and completely broken AI (as of the time of this review.)

I love this game and want it to succeed, it's great fun full of interesting characters. But I currently cannot recommend it due to how broken and mismanaged this game is. CA doesn't seem to care.

I love this game but it has many issues. The game constantly crashes, the dialog is uninspired at times and boring, 'Path of the Damned' difficulty is not even hard - it's just straight up not fun. When you're not on Path of the Damned, the combat is very enjoyable and hasn't gotten boring after 15 hours. On Path of the Damned, the combat is a piss take, it's extremely frustrating and the 'tactics' the game says are required for this difficulty is just kiting the enemies to the edge of their agro box where they can't fight back.

The game is gorgeous and there is a lot of enemy diversity. There is so much content but a lot of it is just 'go here, fight waves of enemies'. Generally speaking, the game is good. But it's not worth anywhere near $120 AUD. No game is. The asking price for this game is insulting for how unstable it is. Play it on gamepass.

Got this with my CPU purchase and it's so much fun. Was looking forward to this game coming out and it did not disappoint.

Edit: Less good, game has gotten so expensive to play. All new decks have 3-4 auto include engine that are all URs for some reason. I wish I would go back to how it was at launch where a powerful deck was available with 2 engine URs. Meta decks are so oppressive, your opponent combo's for 10 minutes and then you get to play for 20 seconds before surrendering because their board is invincible. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW MAXX C HAS BEEN LEGAL SINCE LAUNCH KILL THIS CARD NOW MULCHARMIES ARE IN THE GAME. Easily, without a doubt the worst format by far between TCG and OCG.

They are generous when events are available for ingame resources but that's it. All of the ban lists have been pretty laughable often ignoring extremely problematic cards in favour of consistancy in decks that have infinite consistancy cards. Free my boy Toadally Awesome. He did nothing wrong.
