Update #1:
The game has a very fun gamemode called "sandbox" as of now there is some fun to the game and is partially worth it. I wouldn't buy this game unless you love Dinosaurs!

The Problems below do not exist in survival anymore

This game is absurd. At the current state of the game it's unfair and broken. I completely understand this is a survival game but for the love of god they need to really fix their systems. Progression is fine but if it takes 4+ hours just to reach a decent dinosaur its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken. Along with the frustration of getting killed instantly when you reach that dinosaur by the rancid players that play this hell hole of a game.

1. The hunger system is terrible, specifically for herbivores. They are practically unplayable at this point. Food is gained from individual plants that only full 1 hunger.
2. The balancing towards dinosaurs are also broken with a shant being able to practically one shot any carnivore
3. Players protecting other players of a different species. ( Trike protecting a carnivore ) or vice versa. Same concept for carnivores protecting others of a different species
4. The game has been in early access for over a year!
5. Mega packs ( massive groups of carnivores or mixed dinosaurs )
6. The maps are so big this game is practically a "walk until you die of hunger or dehydration since there is no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way for new players to find a bloody water source without help."
7. Progression system that takes up all the spare time you have especially for carnivores. To then result in a KOS dino turning up and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up all the time you spent
8. The developers are lazy and disrespectful to the community. We're done, or at least I'm done with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
9. They remove a great thing about the game. Sandbox
10. Before actually fixing this ♥♥♥♥ they add in mod support so we do it for them.

I totally understand this is a survival game but please! that doesn't mean make the bloody thing boring as a donkey's arse. Not all of us have that time and we still want to enjoy the game. I love the concept of this game but right now I'm disappointed.

Great Combat system and truly not pay to win.
easy to play but hard to master. Takes true skill.
Easily the best MMORPG i have played
