After having played the game for a little bit, I feel like its actually pretty hollow feeling in comparison to the other games before it, but that could just be nostalgia talking. The UI is pretty bad, and a lot of features that were present in previous games are stripped away. For instance you cannot tell your units to not attack anything unless they themselves are attacked, and when a unit starts attacking something the stop button wont actually stop them. Instead what you have to do is physically yank them away from the area to make them stop. Outposts are iffy in the fact that you have to individually upgrade them one at a time. However, the one upside to that is that you can choose weaponry upgrades for them. Another upside is the whole thing with unit abilities, that was a unique twist on elite units from what I could tell. Overall I personally cannot recommend this game to anyone unfortunately. There is something here, but it is not for me.

Game wont even give me a loading screen, press the button to start running it in the steam library, don't get a window, don't get a black-screen it just wont load at all, so until I can actually load and play it all I can do is give a bad review, once I can actually play I will probably change this since its a placeholder review in a way, im trying to play this on a windows 10 computer, the only game it was not able to handle was ARK.
