A deep and fascinating game that helps you understand the nature of humanity. 10/10, would shake again.

I had high hopes for "The Devil in Me" as a fan of the developer's previous games, particularly since I enjoyed their previous release, "House of Ashes". However, the game was a major disappointment in every way.

The 21:9 mode, which works flawlessly in all other games from the developers, doesn't work in "The Devil in Me". This, coupled with numerous visual bugs, makes it hard to get immersed in the story. It's often unclear whether certain events are supposed to be happening or if they are just a bug. This lack of clarity takes away from the horror experience that the game was supposed to deliver.

The co-op mode, which was supposed to be a highlight of the game, is also a letdown due to numerous bugs and connection issues. It's impossible to enjoy the game with so many problems. The game's attempts to expand with new features feel unnecessary and frustrating. The game would have been better if the developers had focused on refining the core gameplay instead of adding unnecessary new features.

The biggest disappointment is the lack of horror in "The Devil in Me". The title suggests a spooky and thrilling experience, but the game doesn't deliver on this promise. It fails to scare players in a way that captures their attention, and the absence of the horror element makes it hard to get invested in the story.

Overall, "The Devil in Me" is a major letdown that falls short in every aspect. Its issues with the 21:9 mode, unnecessary new features, and missing horror element make it a frustrating and disappointing experience. If you're a fan of the developer's previous work, I would recommend avoiding this game at all costs.
