Did i play this game for more than 250 hours?

Yes.

Would i recommend it?

no.

it was a decent ride for a while but eventually after the glow of brand new game started to fade, you come to the conclusion its tedious, same outposts pasted onto dozens and dozens of worlds. sure you cant expect every base on every planet to be completely unique but the layouts are the same the item distribution is the same the enemy placement is the same. Ive seen plenty of players who can off the top of their head describe exactly where items and enemies are in these repeat bases without having a computer in front of them.

Even at the time i put some of this aside for the tidbits of story bethesda did give us. there are some excellent stories told through a handful of quests. Also some mediocre stories that disappointed me, but ultimately what killed it was the way "Endgame/New Game+" was implemented. Without spoiling the story itself. it was a mood killer, that i personally think was poorly written, all with the pay off of "Here you go kiddies, we know how much you like playing our games repeatedly so go do it all again."

Unfortunately they choose to implement a feature like this in one of their weakest written titles with little of interest as incentive to "do it again" only minor differences to entice us.

If you do decide to buy this and play it all the way to the new game plus do yourself a favor and just look up a video of the differences instead of wasting your time playing through again.

All in all, i wish i could refund this game it was a waste of my time, and a significant irritant for a while upon realizing what it truly was. id go so far as to say i wish i could forget this game.
