Early Access Review
I want to preface this review by stating that there's other versions of the game that are free. This game also has a browser version, and a mobile version that can both be played for free. Any progress made on those can be ported over to the Steam version via the Cloud save function. I personally didn't know about those when I bought the game, but I don't regret it for a second.

I've only been playing for around 3 weeks, and making progress through that time. What I can say is that the developer has done an awesome job. I wasn't a person who played Runescape religiously when I was younger/growing up, but I know this game heavily is based on Runescape from what I understand. That said, it's completely different.

All the Idle games I've played in the past have been true idle. You get to a certain point, prestige, start over with other bonuses. That's not this. This game is what I'd call active-idle. Weird, I know. A lot of items can be gathered through combat, and those items have different drop rates. Though, combat is also effective by your combat type, and also your equipment. You really have to balance it out. You can purchase auto-eat in the shop, which will allow your character to consume food automatically when below a certain % of health, but at first at a decreased food efficiency. As you upgrade it, the % health you need for it to come into effect is raised, and the food efficiency upgrades to 100%. (60% 80% 100% as 3 upgrades).

That's not the only part. Skills are also a core part of the game. Fishing for example is a great way to get food, but you'll also need to raise your cooking level to cook higher level fish. When you max level a skill, again fishing for example, you'll be able to buy a cape for the fishing skill. You'll equip it when you're fishing and it'll double the amount of items caught. This also stacks with skill mastery, which is xp based and has milestones which will unlock different passive bonuses. It's hard to explain, but as you're doing a skill you passively accumulate mastery xp aswell as skill xp for the specific skill. Then, each item has it's own mastery too. Each fish will give bonuses as you level it up. Once you get one to max level, the bonus is "catch a minimum of 2 fish". Stack that with the cape, and you're catching 4 of that fish at a time.

It's a really deep game, that has its own developed wiki and a community that will help you out over on Discord. There's a lot to do, and you'll definitely get your money worth if you buy it; especially on sale. No regrets here!

This is the first actual review I've ever done I think.

As someone who played the originals when I was a kid, and I can barely even remember them, I was excited when I seen this coming to PC--but sceptical. I don't like playing any game with a controller. At all. With most other ports I've played, I've learned that they tend to be really crap when it comes to mouse/keyboard. When I seen how well this played on mouse/keyboard, I was overjoyed. I have to thank the developers for making it so nice.

As for the graphics, they're nothing spectacular like, say, Monster Hunter: World--but they do the original art style justice and I'm really happy they stuck with that whole nostalgia-trip theme. I've played it for a little bit now and I'm actually having quite a bit of fun. The price is definitely a little steep for a strictly single-player game, despite it being 3 games, so I would probably wait for it to go on sale at some point if you're not in a rush to buy it.

So far, I haven't seen any negatives with the game. I'm almost 2 hours in at the time of writing this and I'm 24% through the 1st game. (With 100% on all the worlds/places I've been so far.) I'm not even mad that it just took me like 20 minutes to find 25 gems that where behind a building... Okay, maybe a little bit.

As of now, I haven't completed the game. But from what I have played this game is both insanely fun, and entertaining. From the games, from the LEGO series, I have played this has been the best so far. I haven't seen the Jurassic Park movie series, but this had Dinosaurs in and Lego so who could resist not buying it?

The game itself is really pretty game and you can handle running it pretty easily. So far the story line is pretty awesome, and easy to follow. I don't really have anything bad to say about the game.
