Double Fine has done it once again and has made something extremely fun and quirky.

The best way I could describe this game is Splatoon crossed with light MOBA elements where you get to craft your own unique creations to take into battle.

This is definitely worth checking out and I hope it has a long life ahead of it, its rare we get unique multiplayer games like this anymore with all the live service generic cartoon hero shooter things that exist.

Had to pull myself away from the game so I can sleep for work.

Probably should’ve done that four runs ago.

It’s everything you loved about Vampire Survivors but in dungeon crawling deckbuilder format. Insanely endlessly addicting. Oh, and all the characters are voiced now!

Mercenaries Mode is available to play right from the start, that is worth it alone for me.

It took me about 8 hours to become moderately skilled at Screamer, to finally hit a flow state where everything clicked and I could drive with more skill an precision. I must say though that no racing game ever made quite comes close to feeling how this feels once everything does finally click. The best I can compare the feeling of doing well and winning is to that of beating a boss in a Souls-like game. So, if you stick with it, you will fall in love just as I have.

Visually the game is stunning, the soundtrack bangs hard, the audio for every vehicle is different and is punchy and loud and makes you feel like a badass when you hit those perfect active shifts. Story wise I am 2 chapters in and am pretty invested in all the characters and their drama, which is high praise given that we hardly ever get racing games with a good story.

Long story short, this game is hard, it will test you, but if you stick with it you will learn and improve and fall in love. Give it a shot.

Last year when this game came out on PS5 I streamed through it 6-7 hours or more a day every day for 10 days straight on my twitch and it became my favorite game of all time, even overruling Metal Gear Solid 3. I loved it so much I immediately went and bought the collectors edition and the custom dualsense controller for it. No game has ever made me feel such a rollercoaster of emotions nonstop like this one did, going from laughing, to crying, to cheering, to anger and everything in between.

Death Stranding 2 is Kojima at his peak, it pays homage to his past projects and closes Sam’s story out perfectly. This is a game you do not want to miss out on, I promise you that.

Game is absolutely fantastic, doesn't hold your hand in any way just like games of old used to be. The sound design is top notch, gun play is fun and gun fights are tense (especially at extraction), and the visual aesthetic is probably the most perfect thing I have ever seen (but I understand is not for everyone). The game is also optimized really well and even ran alongside OBS and my vtuber program at high settings, which I generally struggle with on a lot of modern games since I have a 4060 8GB.

Screw the ticks though. How dare you Bungie, how dare you... I'll forgive you though if you add Linux support so I don't have to go through hell installing Windows on my Legion Go S.

With the chase cam enabled this feels like a long lost good Need for Speed DS/PSP game, and that is a very very high compliment.

Digging the vibes, can’t wait to play more.

Luck be a Landlord meets Balatro with a dash of Katamari when encountering “The Principle”.

Items appear to have a ton of unique synergies and though my playtime may be low as of this review, I can tell there’s a lot of content here to sift through.

You drag different food items (or even non-food items) onto an omelette to feed customers while trying to hit a target score each round with money earned depending on how well you did but also on side requests the customer may have. After each round you get to visit a shop very similar to Balatros shop where you can buy food crates to have more items in your repertoire or helpers that can give you nice bonuses, or hinder you. There’s also a doggo in a trash can that you can feed randomized unwanted food items to for a little extra cash. If you fail a run, you get reprimanded by “The Principle” in a very Katamari-King of All Cosmos way, and he will also give you new items to find in the shop depending on how well you’ve done with previous items.

I can see myself spending a lot of downtime with this one, definitely check it out!
