So, an edit is needed: As much as I do really enjoy this game, I still can't give it a recommendation. It took far too much fiddling around with settings, files, and drivers to get this game to work reliably, and I'm still a little suspect. If you have the technical know how, patience, or just plain luck to get this working, then go for it, but otherwise you'd be better off buying the console version.

I love this game, I really, really, really do, but right now it's almost entirely unplayable.
It constantly crashing to desktop with no error reports, and even after updating my driver, deleting and reinstalling the game, limiting factors in the in-game settings that are known to cause issues, nothing works.
If this gets fixed, then I'd be more than happy to change my recommendation, because I really do love this game, I've fought through twelve hours worth of bugs, lag, and crashes, just cause I wanted to try and have some fun, but right now I just can't.

This game is painful.
And yet somehow, it always managed to drag me back.

This is incredibly fun.
Easy to learn and control, deceptively simple gameplay, and an interesting background story / motivation.
I'm really enjoying this and am excited for things to come.

Fun plain and simple.
