As someone that hadn't done any practice runs or even replayed for a bit prior to this DLC dropping, it has been pretty damn fun to play (on my own) even with it's difficulty.
I already feel like I've improved a ton with my dodging and reading enemy moves more compared to when I did the base game. (Currently only the final boss and some optional stuff remains at the time of writing this.)

After getting to play this in English and properly understanding the story, yeah, I would say it was worth it. The gameplay itself I found to be rather fun, finding my favorite weapon and upgrading it to maximum, doing the Roguelike sections after completing the different layers for added difficulty in exchange for better rewards. The animation and H-Scenes are an added bonus for me, since I actually wanted to know the context of everything more than watching the H content after playing it previously in Japanese. There were a few hiccups here and there with the game occasionally crashing and some enemies appearing invisible at first, but that might also be due to my rig since my RAM isn't that great. There were a few typos scattered about and a couple things that didn't make sense the first time reading it, but they didn't detract from the game after rereading it again to make better sense of it just in case my eyes were tricking me. Overall, solid experience, glad I bought it the moment it released on here after waiting so long.

Anime Dark Souls in a nutshell, but the characters, story, and overall world is beautifully done. Besides getting my ass handed to me by a couple bosses, I loved the experience of this game as a whole. For players who struggle with Dark Souls-esque game mechanics, this is like a new breath of fresh air and dials it back a little bit, but not too far as to remove difficulty as it should be.

Worth the pre-order on console, had some issues on PC at first, but both versions fully caught my attention the entire time I've been playing. This is my first introduction to the series and was well worth every cent.

After all these years and going through developer changes, it has withstood the time from it's release to now, in an everlasting glory of fun that is exciting to return to no matter what.

10/10, will always return to again.

Many characters to choose from, multiple paths of each, and all with their own unique skills and attack types.

Great game for those who enjoy being in parties, collecting loot, and getting stronger as they progress through the story of each character.

Well, not many know about this game, but it indeed is quite fun. I may not have been able to fully submerse myself into yet due to certain...limitions...,but this game's story is good, and I recommend for others to try it out, you might even really start to like it.
