This game is about having fun while using as little skill as possible. And 50% of the time is basically a hangout for gooberish individuals of the internet. Fantastic comedic timing, play with friends.

Short game, but it's six dollars. What else would you expect?

You're telling me that this game has phenomenal art direction, can be played for completion, difficulty, fun, or any combination of the above, doesn't have overpriced DLC adding content that should've been in the base game, has fantastic progression and is re-playable?

Had so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ potential, and then they didn't develop it, like a genius stuck as a fetus.

Undoubtedly an entertaining game that most people will get their money's worth from.

However,

it's not a great building game.

While you CAN do some kind of advanced stuff, the game is generally very limited in it's building system. If you're a fan of games like Main Assembly, Stormworks, or Besiege, don't expect the same level of possibility from Space Engineers, it's simply not there. Most of the *variety* in the game comes from trying to make your ship look cooler, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it does get boring fairly quickly, as the giant blocks used to build heavily restrict what designs you can get away with.
