Its probably time I leave a review for Valheim. I've got 800+ hours in the game, I've beaten every biome, boss, using just about every weapon combination through multiple playthroughs.

I've hosted servers for the game, I've built mods for the game, I've built modpacks and I've built plenty of bases. What I'm saying is I've done most of the things in the game, and then some.

I think what keeps me coming back to the game is that its an incredibly combination of cozy, relaxing, peaceful along with terrifying, exhilarating dangerous moments that combine in such a way you always have something fun you can do, no matter how you are feeling that day.

Valheim launched in the depths of Covid, from a small team, and it shows. Its a game the developers have put a ton of passion into, but its also a game from a small team. Don't expect Cyberpunk for vikings. The surface of the game is relatively simple, but the details are all very thoughtfully designed and implemented.

If building a cozy wood cabin while running for your life from falling trees, fighting massive world bosses and sailing through dark and stormy seas sounds fun to you, you'll enjoy this game.

I was told I get steam points for this.
