Assassin's Creed Mirage brings the series back to its roots, recapturing the essence of the classic Assassin's Creed games. Ubisoft has managed to shift away from the RPG based setting seen in Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. Instead of being a warrior with traits of an asssassin, you are once again a real assassin. The gameplay feels tighter, requiring much less time to complete, in my case only about 30 hours, compared to the 100-300 hours needed for the RPG series with all DLCs included.

While I missed the diverse weapon selection given in the RPG games, AC Mirage still gave me an enjoyable experience. It quickly reminded me of classics like AC Brotherhood, AC II, and AC III, calling up nostalgic memories. The skill tree, weapon variety, and map size have been scaled heavy. Open combat is more challenging, pushing you to stealth based gameplay. The story, especially the ending, was not bad and had a surprising effect.

That said, if you started with AC Origins or later, there is a good chance you might not enjoy Mirage as much 😅. However, if you liked the titles like AC II, III, Brotherhood, or Revelations you are mostlikely going to appreciate its return to form. As usual the ubisoft game engine has is usual traits as certain bugs, but they’re less than in previous entries.

A further notable downside is that Mirage was originally planned as DLC for Valhalla, and this is actually obvious. It doesn’t feel as powerful as a full mainline game. It rather comes across like an enhanced DLC. Therefore demanding 50 bucks for this game is ridicilous.

Overall, I would recommend AC Mirage, especially to longtime fans of the series. While it is not perfect, it is a welcome throwback to the roots. I would rate it a solid 7/10.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is my 2nd favourite game of the AC series with AC Origin taking the lead. That said, keep in mind that since AC Origin, these games became more like an rpg and are very different from the previous AC games.

Odyssey takes place in ancient Greece. The story is decent and has different outcomes, depending on the choices you make during the game. You face the greek mythology, architecture, and certain famous people from the past, for instance; sokrates the philosopher. Unlike in the previous games, you get to choose if you play as a female or male character.
Both DLC´s are enjoyable too, however the fate of atlantis is my personal favourite.
The game will occupy you for approximately 150-200 hours.
As for someone who enjoys games with historical & adventurous values with the bonus of really high quality graphics, this game is just pure satisfaction.

Unfortunately there are few bugs, which appear rarely, yet they exist, as for example getting stuck on a place or not unlocking achievements.

Overall i can still recommend the game with a clear conscience.

If you love the ancient egypt and enjoy being the friendly assassin next door. This is your game to play.
I have played more than half of all Assassins Creed Games and at this point i have to say, that AC Origin is prob the best part of the AC series. As the name reveals this game gonna take you back to the roots of the assassins and reveal how everything began.
In this series particular, there have been added a few new features such as taming wild animals. The localities are really beautiful, you get the opportunity to explore the old pyramids, the modern developed city Alexandria and much more. Overall i have made an enjoyable experience with this game. The DLC the curse of pharaos is pretty awesome as well and i can only recommend you to get it aswell
