This game improves upon many mechanics other MMOs have been missing. There are no classes, you instead train your skills toward a certain weapon combo. So if you decide you no longer like magic you can retrait to melee without creating a new character.

Game is absolutely beautiful and I haven't encountered any lag on max quality settings despite having an older GPU. It is wickedly optimized, allowing you to teleport across the map without any loading screens or lag.

My criticisms thus far: Being unable to move while airborne; it's more realistic, but I'm used to being able to redirect my character midair in video games. And I was encountering glitchy, disco-esque strobe lights on brightly colored surfaces which were very distracting; disabling lens flare resolved it. Lastly, you have to gamble if you want to upgrade your attack skills. The upgrade system is RNG-based, meaning you can grind for skill books and lose all of them due to bad luck.

I haven't played enough to know if this game is P2W; however, I would be willing to spend money on this game.
