After 10 hours of hype, some serious flaws with the game started to show up.

Melee is very clunky to use, dodges and parries are extremely unreliable and half the time non-responsive. Anything apart from the chainsword is borderline useless.

Gunplay is fine, but the choices are really limited for PvE. Tactical is the only class that gets a fair selection of weapons, while the rest have to make do with 2 bolter types and only 1 pistol. Ammo for some maps is extremely limited and the heavy needs a serious buff in ammo capacity, as the heavy bolter runs out of ammo within 10 seconds, and becomes essentially useless after that.

It would be nice to see 4 people squads in PVE operations, or at least taking away the restriction of having 1 class per PvE match.

Not interested in the PvP, I have no idea how it handles, but from what I have seen from others, its not the greatest.
Overall its a solid game, but for the amount charged it needs a lot more work to truly shine. Deffo looking forward for the next patches.

Servers are slow but it's to be expected from a 200k current playerbase, however having a character locked behind a server is atrocious. Want to play with friends? Restart your whole progress.

Base building is very clunky, needing you to spend 2 hours just to properly rotate a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ roof piece.

Server wipes are really concerning, as losing everything upon season changes completely invalidates any reason to play to begin with.

Edit: It's actually so much worse than I originally thought, every single aspect of this game is extremely predatory with it's monetisation. Down to the point where you have to spend 8 bucks to change your appearance which you have to if you UNLOCK appearance options AFTER you finalise your character.

Massive hard pass, waste of potential in every way.

Genuinely the most relaxing game I have played in a while.

Graphics are very well done and beautiful, even for an 8 bit game. Game-play is fun and intuitive, where you can make some wacky combat builds, or you can just relax, farm and tend the cattle.

Its an absolute gem to play with friends, and its the most satisfying thing to create massive fortresses.

A game that makes no sense, feels and plays like a bad multiplayer porno. Its over bloated by a million "perks" and "consumables" that I can't be bothered for the life of me to give a ♥♥♥♥ about. Community seems to be a 50/50 between sweaty as ♥♥♥♥ and chill asf.

As with any live service, it's full to the brim with monetised skins and ♥♥♥♥, however its really disappointing to see survivors and killers locked behind a paywall, overall its filled with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ practices.

What cretin gave this game a positive review? Every single step you take is monetised. You can barely hold an hour's worth of loot before being forced to scrap or drop it due to the inventory system (which miraculously expands if you pay premium of course). Riddled with bugs to the point where you have to restart the same mission 60 times only to get a lucky break. Never touch this piece of ♥♥♥♥ at full price, only bother when it's below 5 bucks, for it's not even worth that much.
