Enjoying every second of this game, really brings back memories of the old BF days. It may not be perfectly like the old ones, but this is definitely a great leap into the right direction, keep this up devs, I'd hate to see another huge flop from what was once an amazing Series.

Only gripe I can really think of atm is some of the challenges just feel a little too hard. Now don't get me wrong, I really like a challenge, and have completed some of these after a few hours of grinding, but I mainly speak for the average crowd of players that will more than likely struggle extremely to get them. On top of that some of them just don't make sense for what you unlock. For example, why are there two Recon uniforms, that are both tied into challenges for specific gamemodes that just don't fit the class at all? Those being "King of the hill" and "Domination". I'm not a Recon player myself, but I know if I was, I'd be quite irritated about having to play close quarters combat gamemodes, for a class that is fundamentally a long range engaging one. Yes you don't have to play long ranged, but lets not pretend that this isn't the main purpose of the class here.

Overall though, game is definitely worth giving a try, especially if you are a BF vet like me who was missing the old days!

Honestly would have given this game a positive review but then they had to throw in a battlepass(BP). Now I know a lot of you are thinking "But its a free to play game, how else will they make profit from it?!" Well for one, this is a multi billion dollar company, and two, I would really prefer that they focused on the game first, get it out of early access THEN if they want to bring in a BP by all means. I never have liked BPs in games, especially ones you pay to play, but I can ignore them in free to play games just fine IF they still focused on making the over all experience of the game better and more enjoyable. (And obviously keep BP content to only cosmetic). I didn't play test the alpha stages of this game, but seeing as multiple people have said EA put microtransactions in those too, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

If you want my honest opinion, try the game out as it is a free to play, but don't give your money to them. I mean the Chinese knock off sims characters aren't even worth spend money on anyways.

One of the few games that make me want to bash my head into my desk just for playing 10 minutes of it.

As much as I want to recommend this game, I just can't.

Almost every negative review talks about this already, but the optimization is just horrible, and the first free update somehow made it even worse. I'm well above the recommended specs for this game and can't even run 60 fps with no stutter and on low graphics, I shouldn't need to turn on frame generation just to run the game semi decently.

The other thing that isn't talked much about from what I see is I personally am not a fan of the event quests being limited time, MH World and Rise both had permanent event quests that you could always come back to anytime you wanted, but this one they decided to change that. I know they bring them back later one, but that just helps my point, why get rid of them to begin with, if you are going to add them again later?? Defeats the purpose of it being 'limited time' while also making it annoying to farm for the armor pieces and such.

Last thing, the game for me feels ridiculously easy, the monsters from the beginning, to the late game just die so quickly, even without capturing the monster, I end up beating them in less than 8-10 minutes, if I was really trying to kill it quickly, then make that 5-6 minutes. Even the tempered monsters aren't safe from the speed at which they die. If you are playing the game now and feel the same way, simple fix for this is to just get a difficulty mod to make them have more health and such, but that shouldn't be needed in the first place. I know they are trying to introduce more people to the series, but this is just making vets and experienced players not get much enjoyment at the same time. I feel a difficulty slider is something that would do well to favor both sides of the community, but that's just my opinion.

My review will change when they at least fix the optimization, but until then, I highly recommend playing one of the older tittles.

If you are anywhere in the world but Asia, don't bother picking this game up, other server that has even a little bit of players in it, is in Asia. Western side practically no one touches it 24/7. This game is mostly multiplayer too, so you will end up being stuck in queue times of almost 15 minutes just waiting to play one quest/raid. Unless you wanna only play the story mode, and 'free roam' I wouldn't bother picking this up, I hate to say this because I'm a huge fan of the SAO game series, (Not the anime anymore, just the games cause they got way better story telling), but this game is just a big no for me. If you want a good SAO game, my personal favorites were, Lost Song, Hollow Realization, and Fatal Bullet.

But like I said, if you are in Asia, I'd give this a try when its on sale. My review will be negative, as I personally can't have fun in it, but I'm sure you guys over there will be able to!

I honestly want to like this game but I just can't when I keep having to fight against enemy players who are high ranked, while Im still trying to scratch the surface of what this game has to offer. I pushed through it though, and manage to unlock tier 2, thinking I might have a chance to fight better now, only to be hit in the face with the knowledge that I now have to fight tier 3 players. The feeling over progressing and getting better just gets ruined by the fact that I am constantly going to be out gunned, until I spend years in this game getting to max tier. That doesn't at all feel worth it too me.

If you are looking to play a game with fair balancing and a real sense of progression, then I'd stay clear of this game unless you wanna spend thousands of hours grinding away at it, while dealing with high ranked players who are able to some how play in tier 1/2 matches.

I love everything else about the game but this stuff I mentioned above, kills my motivation to want to play it anymore.

Literally the only thing nice about this game, is the nostalgia from the campaign. Every single pixel of the game blasts you in the face with micro transactions, whether it is ads in the main menu, or it be fighting people with OP weapons that they stole their mom's credit card to get. I wanted to like this game, since I am a vet from its first days, but they really have fallen off since then. If you are looking for a fun pvp/pve game to play and shut your mind off in, look anywhere else but here.

Hands down the best game I have played in a long time. So far my (about) 150 hours have been a fantastic experience and I see myself putting many more hours into it. Great game + great community + great dev team = a wonderful experience.
Obviously its not perfect, it has its short comings. With the different bugs that are always on your ass and all, but luckily all you gotta do is just shoot them and you will do just fine! Got a bunch of bots in your game, just shoot those too!
Jokes aside this is a very fun game and is very much worth the purchase. 10/10
