pov: you're the alternative reality Titan Slayer from Titan Quest

actually pretty good for a 40k game

It's so good.

Gameplay: Great, fluid, as with previous titles from the developer
Weapons: Also great, lots of variety to support different preferences and playstyles
Story: (Nonexistent, directionless, lacks structure. You can't complete mission 1, unlock mission 2, complete that, move on and kill the boss in mission 3 and get a cosmetic reward)
Characters: (No noteworthy traits or features, almost like we're all just irrelevant rejects, huh, didn't see that coming)
Classes: 'I am better at x' - Shooting or casting, stabbing and smashing, or tanking. That's it, and that's all you really need.
Cash shop: Fully functional (with predatory pricing brackets)
Crafting system; Incomplete, but don't worry you can use the task system to get gear for now (or log in every hour to see if the randomised shop has good stuff: Fear of missing out mechanics, we see you)
Game state: Supposedly out of beta. Lots of crashes.

I can't recommend it as it stands. There is good here, but also (bad), and that seems to outweigh the good.

Good game, with promise to be great.
Admittedly it needs some more features, looks like a scenario/map editor is on the way.
I expect this will lead to survival/wave stuff, and multiplayer/versus.
Do your part and support the devs.
