Now I wish I was an Amnesiac to erase this awful remake from my memory

I admire the versatility of Jesper Kyd and his soundtracks throughout the game. It plays a vital role by creating an environment that inclines the player to properly embody Agent 47's temperament, despite how challenging it can be sometimes.

What I also love is how the mechanics depend entirely on raw skill and nothing more. Agent 47 does not improve, you do. This includes perfecting your strategy by taking into account the movement patterns of enemies, how to properly utilise your equipment to achieve a specific rank during each mission, and exploiting your surroundings to become the perfect 'grey man'.

Achieving Silent Assassin on the Professional difficulty was not easy for me and I realised it wasn't supposed to be. But that's what made it incredibly addictive, the game constantly challenged me and pushed me to my limits.

Edit: With the recent release of the new Hitman game and the generosity of it's developers offering previous Hitman titles at a discounted price, now is the best time to seize the opportunity and purchase this game! As of 2018, my review still stands.
