The game does not use AI to imitate your friends. It replays clips of what things you have already said, out of context and randomly. This is just worse Lethal Company in every way, it feels cheap and low effort.

Play Lethal Company with the free Mirage mod. Its awesome and does AI imitation way way better.

Perhaps the best social deduction game of all.

Has the kind of atmosphere that begs for a book or movie. Awesome game

Gameplay is extremely repetitive. The entire game is the first hour, but on loop.

Patrol is just walking around until you get a call or see a crime, and the crimes are the same things every time. Suspects will do things right in front of you, and their fleeing behavior and pursuit mechanics have very little depth. After doing enough of these patrols, you get to do a firefight mission. These missions are even blander than the monotonous patrolling.
There is no nuance, no depth, and the systems in place are inconsistent and illogical at times.
The game is needlessly strict with some aspects, and needlessly lax with others.

That being said, if you want a game to just zone out on and pretend to be a police officer, this is the game. It is fun for a few hours. For the price though, I can absolutely not justify it.

It runs like garbage, but that's beside the point.
The main reason for this negative review is that the AI is just awful. Their "advanced tactics" include spawning in behind you, seeing through just about anything that isn't a wall, spamming grenades, and tactically despawning themselves. Something that made the old STALKER games so good was the authenticity of the world and its inhabitants. Each NPC and squad had its own story and you could watch it unfold and meet them multiple times. Now, they spawn and despawn at will with no consistency.

So many times I will be looting a compound just to find that "backup arrived" (enemies spawned in the next room over). Its not authentic, they do not travel, they appear and disappear. It ruins my immersion every time it happens which is unfortunate because the world is so well done, its inhabitants just aren't.

All of this being said, I love this series and I have faith that the devs will make it happen.

Too expensive for what is given, though it has so much promise and is definitely the best feeling shooter I've ever played. It needs more gamemodes and game mechanics in general. Unfortunately, a good portion of the playerbase finds sitting in corners for 10+ minutes waiting for someone to walk by enjoyable. Most of the maps are conducive to this playstyle and even seem to encourage it. "But its tactical!" Its not fun.

The game shows a lot of promise with the features and unique aspects, but its not it yet even half off.

Worth the price imo, especially on sale. You can easily get 4 or 5 hours out of it and its quite funny

First hour or so is exceptionally bland but it gets good for the last 30 minutes or so. Watch it on YouTube or something, wouldn't recommend buying it.

NEVERMIND THERE IS A SECOND PORTION I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT, changing this review to definitely recommending, even at the full price.

It probably took me a little over 7 hours to complete. Very well done and enjoyable overall.

Just about every decision in the latter portion of this DLC holds a lot of weight, and your choices matter.
Its quite a disturbing representation of religious history, but the true horror comes from its grounding in reality.
