Honestly such a beautiful and helpful background study helper. I personally mainly use it for the music and to avoid the breaks in study to hunt for a new video if the 1-2 hour one finishes on Youtube.

I love the customisation of the bedroom and the lore, THE LORE!! Please Blueturtle if you read this I desire more lore about this world!! The little snippets leave you itching for more. I would love to see readable in-game lore books or more images with tid-bits about the world.

As for the game my only complaint is that I wish there was more music playlist options. I think incorporating Steam Workshop into this game would do it wonders with people able to share their playlists. I think being able to import playlists and/or share them to other players would be a game changer for this little game.

Either way, such a gem and looking forward to new updates. Thank you for your hard work!

Citizen Sleeper 2 is set in the same world that the original Citizen Sleeper was based in however, it has no story links to the old game (that I am currently aware of) and you shouldn't see not playing the first game as a barrier to picking up this one.

I have not played for very long, but I can already tell this game is an improved version of the original and everything I hoped for. This grim-dark sci-fi setting is one of my favorites, and I'm so glad to see the developer are back with their new game.

Highly recommend, might be one of my top games for 2025.

I love this game, I truly do, but I cannot, with a good conscience recommend this game due to its developers and the pure lack of any good management. As you will be aware from the other reviews this game has essentially been put on life-support by the devs. The servers are still up and running and if you do decide to pick up this game then you can enjoy it, but don't expect any updates for the foreseeable future.

To add some context to why a lot of the community is angry, the game is still in 'early access', but the dev, unbeknownst to anyone in the Book of Travel or Meadow community, started the development of a brand new game without finishing this one. It's even more egregious is the fact that they have not achieved any of their stretch goals from the Kickstarter, if you backed the game and asked around on the discord expect such wonderful responses from the mods such as:

"Stretch goals (draisines, pets, music playing etc) or Roadmap stuff like region expansion, children, new Forms, etc even if put on the KS page or Updates pages unfortunately don't count under their obligations as they aren't under the Rewards system people paid into"

This developer has fired and rehired the Book of Travels dev team twice now, I don't suspect there will be a third time. This includes the community manager, so if you enjoy silence from the devs and no updates, step right up! Only £30... what a bargin.

An amazing game based on real life events I would very much recommend this game, however please avoid if your PC isn't super high end as I ran this on medium as it was chewing me GPU the entire time.
