From the ashes of depravity, rises the phoenix of quality. How else to describe "The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe?"

Such a revolutionary step forward in the linage of one of the most beloved video game properties of all time. The additions and changes made to this expansion will surely resonate in the annals of the history of all media ever made.

It is perhaps true to say, that no mistakes are forever etched in stone, for the stone unto which "The Stanley Parable" was carved has itself been transmuted.

Offering a message of hope to those who have ever erred in their judgement. You are not beyond redemption. You may change. And you may become more, so much more than you were before.

If there is any message to be taken from "The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe", it is this; what a fortune, a joy, a privilege to have had such an experience. It leaves me hopeful that as a community -- as a world, there is time for us to become our greatest selves.

It's a very fun game and concept, if you're playing as the humans, playing as whatever you are when you die is not terrible but it's just mind numbing, you get none of the cool mechanics such a as gun boosting where you use the recoil of your own guns to propel yourself, you just play as a mindless zombie that goes fast and the abilities you can use while being a zombie are all very basic. Whenever I died I would ask myself "do I really want to go through the chore of playing as a zombie and just run at people or do I just leave and rejoin another server where I can play human which is fun". I don't think the problems with the zombies can be fixed easily simply because these problems are in the core of the game, giving the zombies more options would probably make them stupidly op because they get respawns and are really fast but as it stands right now its just boring to play as a zombie, more often that not you will stay and play zombie because you don't want to ♥♥♥♥ the other players.
So basic TLDR:
The good: Fun and interesting mechanics, decent gunplay, cool artstyle
The bad: Playing as zombie feels much worse than playing human and its going to be a big part of the time you spend in this game, terrible optimization, bland gun designs, not a lot of people playing, meaningless progression system, broken tutorial.
My advice: Take the good things about this game, the gun mechanics and the artstyle and make something new with it, if you build upon the gun mechanics you have something good there, but I think Pandemic Express is too fundamentally flawed to ever be successful unless there are major changes that would leave the game pretty much unrecognizable.
I don't recommend the game but if you made it here the game is good fun for a while and you should check it out to see that there is real potential.
