Recruit beggars, villagers and specialized crafter.
Research building, weapons and armors.
Form a militia, an army.
Free the people from tiranny.
Improve the liberated villages and trade with them.
You can tailor the game at your will. More combat, less combat. Fast Gathering, slow gathering.
For me was just a bit hard to get started (but I was in early stage of early access).
When you reach a bit of automation in gathering and a good party of 5/6 combatants the game start to give you a lot in return :)

Absolutely Yes. The game is engaging and beautiful.

It looks fun, the graphics are not bad, the map is satisfying.
Too bad I can't play. Disconnections, servers not ready, races with continuous freezes due to lack of communication with the servers.

Appreciated the effort to make us looking in to the buildings (CivCity:Rome).
The combat needs a bit more of controls, at this stage it results worst than Caesar3 but i can see the basics system easily tweakable to give more freedom.

2hr to delete folders and switch off steam cloud couse in a Single Player game I have to pay 2dollar to start a new game basically.

Edit: Saving system now is way better. Runs a bit better.
Edit 2: Money Loss. really is just shiny. End. If you missclick the right button of the mouse simply you get ganked by the WHOLE city even if you dont hit anyone or anything. In the best case you get arrested in the worst you die (By paesants slapping you in the face) oh and surprise you can't even load a previous save couse "Ehy you know mate, we have a vision".
Not even UBI and EA have put my patience to the test like you and i've been playing Videogames for 30 years.
