Updating my review because Sony caved and decided not to move forward with forced PSN accounts.

This game is great, which is why so many people were upset about the requirement. If this game was hated or just OK, everyone would have just stopped playing and let the game die silently. I'm proud of my fellow Helldivers for rising up once again against soulless robots o7

On Sony, they have now shown that they are willing to retroactively change the terms of service without notifying users, potentially locking them out of a game they purchased. The only reason they decided to roll back the change is because we hit them in their wallets. What happens in the future when they decide to add a clause to the TOS about datamining your PC and nobody notices? After this I will never purchase a Sony game again, and I really hope Arrowhead finds a new publisher or just decides to publish their own games.

10/10 would get RCE'ed again

This had to be the most lazily made and soulless CoD campaign I've played. If it wasn't for multiplayer I would have refunded this. Battlefield 2042's campaign was better than this.

The multiplayer is fun, but some balance changes need to happen. Snipers get 1 shot kills while everyone else gets a high TTK. This is resulting in entire lobbies full of snipers running controllers for the aim assist.

Predatory microtransaction practices, EOMM/SBMM, garbage anti-cheat, etc. I miss old COD

It's mid-2023 and Linux support for EAC still hasn't been enabled.

This feels like a really bad console port. Locked to a 16:9 aspect ratio at 60fps (Yet still experiences heavy stuttering. I heard the performance is much better on Linux though), and apparently you can't do anything without a controller attached.

By not allowing single player mods, Rockstar is showing that they only care about money, because they know that less people will play online and pay for their microtransactions if we are allowed to make the game look better and add better features
