Honestly, I didn’t want to get this game. It didn’t look like something I would really be in to, but my friend begged for us all to give it a try.

Best $10 I’ve spent in a long time. Nearly 4 hours in the first sitting and it was the most fun we’ve all had gaming together in years. Nonstop laughs.

Still my favorite game of all time, a title previously held by LoZ: Ocarina of Time. This is CDPR at it's best, and a game that will forever live rent-free in my memory. Excellent story telling and an interesting game play loop kept me coming back to this one even after my first hundred hours.

Outstanding game. Beautiful art style and a great story told through imagery and observation of the state of the world as it changes around you. It is on the short side (took me roughly 3.5 hours to complete) but I find that length to be perfect here, and prefer it to games that artificially extend the length and overstay their welcome.

I played this exclusively on the Steam Deck both connected to a 4k tv and just on the built-in screen and it played really well. The mechanics are simple but they all make sense. It doesn't feel like their is any extra fluff and the game really gets out of your way as you spend your time balancing tense moments to progress the story and fighting for survival by digging through trash just to eat that night. There were some minor performance issues here and there in the form of stutter, but that could just be because I was playing on the deck.

Excellent game and an absolute steal at the current sale price of $14.99

Honestly, it took me a couple tries to get into this game. Maybe the game was just slow to start and didn't hold my interest, or maybe it was just timing. However, I'm glad that it did stick eventually, because the experience has been great. Great character arcs, great sense of exploration, the only thing I don't particularly care for is Kratos' handling. I know he's a beefy character, but he pilots like a tank and just doesn't feel particularly satisfying to control.

Overall, great game and I definitely recommend playing it.

Most fun I've had playing CoD since BLOPs2.
