So i'll start this off by saying im a huge Fallout fan and i have countless hours in both Fallout 3 and Fallout New vegas on the Xbox 360 and PC.

When i first launched the game i was so excited to finally get to explore the wasteland, uncover it's secrets and locations and deal with the various factions and raiders but after about 40 hours of playtime the fresh coat of paint wore off and it started feeling more like a Borderlands game than Fallout.

In the previous Fallout games i felt situatons had more options i could talk my way out more or i could use a skill to solve a problem.

The quests seem very fetchy and similar so far but maybe those are just the ones i've played, but in comparison the quests in New Vegas felt varied, fun and sometimes goofy in a good way.

The voice acting is very good and the atmosphere is amazing. The combat system got an overhaul and it actually feels really good i find myself not relying on v.a.t.s nearly as much this time around.

I feel torn deciding wheter or not to recomend it, i've had a fun time playing it but it just feels wrong as a Fallout game as much as it hurts to say.
