I don't usually write reviews, but I can't help but want to give Destiny 2 a thumbs-up. Halo was my childhood, and when Bungie handed it over to 343 it kind of left a void in my gaming life. Moreover, I moved to PC around the time Halo 4 came out, so I've had an itch for this kind of game for almost seven years that hasn't been scratched until yesterday. My love for FPS games has waned over the years, I will admit, but Destiny 2 has pulled me back in. I decided to give it a shot since it is now Free to Play, and I was not disappointed. It's not Halo, but you can tell it was made by Bungie - they are probably the best when it comes to these kind of games. The gunplay is phenomenal - I haven't played an FPS this enjoyable since Borderlands 2! Moreover, the game is filled to the brim with quests to take on, enemies to kill and things to do. I've played almost nonstop since I installed it (barring 8 hours to sleep) and I've barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer.

It's not perfect. I still don't feel as if I have a complete grasp of what's going on, as the tutorial was definitely not the greatest. But overall, this game is great. It has something for almost everyone - if you're a fan of old-school PVP arena combat, you have the Crucible. If you just want to shoot at aliens with some friends, you have Strikes and free-roam. Or you can combine the two with Gambit, an innovative PvPvE mode. Want to grind for loot? It has that. Want to join a clan and fight with your friends? Check. Unless you just absolutely hate FPS games, chances are Destiny 2 has something for you.

It's Free to Play. Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose besides 80 Gigabytes of hard drive space.

Early Access Review
Prison Architect will let your creative juices run free in a sandbox environment with virtually no limits. Fans of games like The Sims and Dwarf Fortress will be at home here. The game has two aspects: building your own prison and maintaining it. If you're not a fan of the architecture and construction aspects, you're free to download a premade facility from the workshop and manage the day-to-day dealings from there. The same applies to the opposite, of course, as you can build and design to your heart's content and upload your masterpieces to the workshop. Though the game is still early access, it boasts hundreds of hours of content. It will challenge you and punish your every mistake with a prison riot. This game has tons of potential, and I look forward to seeing what the developers have in store for its future.
