CS:GO Review
**EDIT - 10/12/15**

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JOKE OF A GAME!!!

Recent updates have ruined this game, removing the skill cap entirely, promoting CoD style run-n-gun play, adding ridiculously OP weapons and laughing in our faces about it. Have a read of the rest of the review to gain an idea of how perfect this game used to be, and then weep quietly that you'll never get to experience that perfection.

If you do still end up purchasing it, you should go to your local church and start praying to RNGesus, since he is the only one who can help you to land shots now.

They put so much effort into a previous update to fix hitboxes, resulting in smooth, enjoyable, accurate gameplay. Now theyve thrown it all away with a series of absolutely mentally deficient changes that will alienate the fanbase and (hopefully) discourage anyone else from ever buying a copy.

The best part is they've already added skins in for the new gun, meaning that they will never be able to remove it without having to refund thousands of people's money. Gg Volvo you soulless monster.

--------------------------------------------------

This game puts all other FPS titles to shame. The community may ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about various aspects of it that could be made better still, but objectively there is no other game in the genre that even comes close.

In a way, it ruined shooters for me, because suddenly everything else became laughably easy.

I've heard that Reflex is up there in terms of enjoyablility, but I've yet to purchase that one, so I can't compare. It's also not remotely the same type of game, apart from the fact that they both use a crosshair to aim with.

It's one of those games that you can pick up and enjoy straight away as a newbie, or can pour thousands of hours into and still be in love with. You'll always feel like there's something more to learn.

Then there's the community, working hard to bring hundreds of crazy different game modes, maps, cosmetics, leaugues etc.

There is no way to 'pay-to-win' here, unless you're one of those wankers who thinks cheats are the answer to life's problems. It all comes down to skill, dedication, and a dash of luck. Oh, and learning to work with a team to accomplish a goal is far more rewarding than going it alone.

As with all multiplayer games, you will get whiners and asshats, and there is a surprising amount of hatred from some people toward certainn nationalities. In my opinion, however, everyone has a chance to feel accepted if they put just a smidgen of effort into learning the basics.

If you haven't already bought CS:GO, you should do so immediately. If you do already own a copy, I suggest you buy another one. And then buy another one again and give it to a friend or loved one.

10/10

2 thumbs and 2 big toes up

Even Simon Cowell agrees, I asked him and he said he would have picked CS:GO, if it had ever entered The X Factor
