If I had to describe it in terms of other game comparisons, Magicite is the beautiful love child of Super Meat Boy, Mario and Terraria. It's amazingly easy to pick up the basics, especially for a Roguelike, and I've used it to introduce a number of people to the genre who would have been otherwise turned off by it. The crafting is simple, nessisary and somewhat complex at the same time because of item combinations, but the combos are easy to learn and can be done straight from the inventory instead of needing to go into town and craft.

The music is also brilliant, and even the current bugs are more funny than they are annoying.

I know the game is still early, but my friends and I can't get enough, I'm more than happy that I kickstarted it and got eight keys to share.
