Constant crashes once I hit the first city after the intro. Tried all the fixes and nothing helped. Requested refund. I'd love to give this a try, but it's not playable for me. 7800X3D, 4090.

From what I played, it seems like an interesting game. Feels/looks like Star Wars, though it plays very similarly to every other Ubisoft game (Far Cry comes to mind).
I was still pretty early on, but from what I played, the weapon system leaves much to be desired. It seems like alternate weapons are 'pick up until they run out of energy, then discard'. If that stays true for the whole game, that's a huge bummer.

Enjoyed the first game and thought this would be an easy win. Gameplay is very similar to the first game, which is great. Lots of game-breaking bugs/glitches around co-op though. My 30+ hour playtime character is now stuck in a deathloop so I can no longer play on it. Here's how it happened (to the best of my knowledge:
1) Played co-op with a friend and dropped out mid-mission thinking it's fine because it's on his host
2) Access to my GRE key (a key gameplay element for progress) was locked out because of a part of my friend's story mission
3) Had to track down a group running that same mission through the 'online play' menu and finish that mission
4) Dropped out after mission completion, key appeared to be working again
5) played again with my friend in co-op on his host at a later point
6) logged back in and was now out of area for whatever mission I had been running
7) game now auto-kills me because of 'leaving mission area' and I can't get back to wherever I was that triggered this (which I don't actually know where it is)

So.. I'm feeling bummed. I enjoy the gameplay and the story seems interesting, but I can't even play on my own account now that I've invested a bunch of time in because I opted to drop in on a friend's game a couple times. I would not recommend picking this up until they fix this game.

And, as a side-note, they implemented one 'fix' where you can spawn 'in mission zone' but it doesn't work for my situation I guess, because it does nothing to fix the deathloop I'm in. Guess I'll go play other games....

Destiny certainly has its ups and its downs, but there's never been a game that has gotten me to sink as many hours into it - and enjoy it mostly - as Destiny.
