Awesome free2play non pay2win game, dont let review bombing fool you.

If you expect an Action RPG you might get disappointed. If you expect a Twin stick shooter with RPG elements: go for it!

Graphics: 10/10 Its a top down shooter with almost AAA FPS Graphics (Unreal Engine btw.) Extremely Detailed World.
Gameplay: 6/10 Good, reasonable controls, fluid gunplay, lacking in evasion system. Fixed movement speed :-/
Sounddesign: 9/10 minor flaws, but very well state of the art Cinematic Sci Fi Sounddesign.
Motivation: 8/10 Rewarding Levelling, Rewarding Quests and Secrets. Barely use for the Crazy amount of money you get... A game you can easily beat from start to finish without losing interest. No endgame Content after Story. (So far i guess)

Other: Cool and quite different Weapons, Cool but very imbalanced Augments.

What i would have done differently? I´d add a sprint button or more Player control of the Movement Speed generally, for example by skill points. Quick Travel between tower levels (Not only inside a towerevel) would have saved Planty of unnsssecary walking. (I played 24 hrs start to finish. Could have been 18 or less with that feature.)
Also i would have wished for more weapon customization to adjust to my playstyle. (Instead, every Weapon level up only changes one stat and this one only: Damage)

Otherwise, a compliment to the Dev Team for such an immersive, impressive and fun game. Id absolutely buy an addon or sequel.

Seraph is all about ninjadodging in an 2d environment while shooting down enemies with auto aimed guns.
Sounds weird? Its awesome! Gameplay wise it gets some interesting new playstyle in the good ol 2d Run and gun Genre.
Something i was very positively surprised with is the actual Rogue LiTe DNA this game has.
You can refine and modify your playstile by Levelling and customizing guns,. gear, abilities and - Perks. (1 per lvlup)
The length of the game ist just right. When it gets repetitive it already kinda ends before you have a grindfest.
For those who want to keep playing - there seems to be endgame content and so on... but im done with the game for now.
I had 5 Hours till i saw the credits (and no real ending... :-( ) And gamepolay wise they were a blast.
Basically i can absolutely recommend the game to everyone who thinks the screenshots on the store look cool to them. Because thats exactly what you get- and more.

This is oldschool cool at its finest. Love the editor and the short MP matches and testruns on own maps.

Surprisingly cool Retro-RPG Dungeon Crawler.
It doesnt have too strong storytelling, but demands, strategy, plannng, reflexes, and iddle solving. Wonderful mix.

Really nice classic shoot em up.

On launching the game it opens within a pre configured DOSbox. But for me so far everything worked like a charm.

It has an Upgrade system. You Kill enemies, collect money and items and between the missions you buy sell and adjust your plane. (Not in an addicting grindy way)

Its well made for its time and also aged good.

Its a nice little time killer. Comparable to Jamestown (But not as good tbh)

I love Payday, Payday 2, Borderlands, Fallout, Binding of isaac (and roguelikes in general). In my special case count in RAGE aswell)
If this is the case for you as well, you know whats troubling: After those games theres nothing left.
- Not anymore. Wasted combines all of these games. (while making fun of them) But so far i can say: This game is well balanced, and - whats most important: The ratio of Skill / Levelling is kinda up to you. No need to to "GIT GUD" if ure already gud. Youre good? Prove it. This game has permadeath, deal with it. At least you can transfer a part of your items and your house. Imagine Borderlands gameplay and graphics with Binding of isaac progression mechanics - there u go. But the longer you dont die the better you get. Thumbs up i love this game, youll love it too. you should buy it. At least twice

theres no money in this game, there is Useful stuff you have to use as a currency. (Crafting items)
As of one of the last patches, early game got WAY easier. But i still think this is the Dark souls of the Hack n slay genre.

MASSIVE Skilltree, MASSIVE Amount of Crafting items, Uniques, Skills, and whatnot.

7Character classes, each with 3 or so Prestige Classes.

The PAYABLE Content is Purely Cosmetic or more Shared Stash Space. If You Are willing to make Mules - Not much of a Problem.

Youre a Diablo 2 Veteran and hate all that other "Hack & Slay" crap? GO FOR IT!

Youre a whiney wimp? -its ok you can play on normal Softcore

I have tried them All: Magic the Gathering, Hearthstone, Infinity wars, hex, duelyst and and and...
AND... Solforge is pretty much the best in my opinion.

first the Bad stuff: The Launcher and game UI are a little flimsy and sometimes in certain (not affecting actual gameplay) areas the clicking area of Buttons is off somehow. All over the menus and Deckbuilding the whole thing seems a bit... well, not so well and cleanly done. But nothing to an amount that should stop you from playing this gem.

The GOOD Stuff:

1. Fair free to play system. Youll after a while playing with free stuff can (and will) totally get cards that enable you to beat every deck. Some of the strongest decks dont even need any (or many) of the Rarest cards.

2. Cross platform. Yes. Steam players and Android PLayers and Ios Players. You have one account which you use for mobile and pc and all the systems supported. Its always in sync.

3. Multiplayer modes: Besides the tournaments and drafts (in the standard draft you can keep your drafted cards) there is a few cool things to mention about the multiplayer: You can challenge people on your friendlist, you can play at home with friends in local coop (but only with decks on ONE account) and, of course against randoms online.

4. Campaign. Dissapointingly short, yes, supertricky and challenging but SUPER Rewarding, giving you some of the strongest Legendaries.

5. RNG / STRATEGY / Deckratio: Its nice. one of the most balanced in my opinion. but dont cry: As a beginner, youll have a hard time online until you know what are the most dangerous cards.

6. Artwork. Its wonderful. (the Cards)

PLAY THIS NOW! Dont let this nice game die for that RNG Hearthstone kiddiecrap.
