tries way too hard to be edgy. not scary in the least after the first few trials, just kinda gross.

the game blows but i cant stop playing it

the multiplayer is some of the most imbalanced, frustrating, unfun garbage I have ever played, period. map design blows, guns are incredibly unbalanced, movement is utter trash, sound design is horrid, and the bobbing when you run gives me motion sickness, but you cant turn it off. its relatively easy on most maps for 3 decent players with m82s and LMGs with thermals to spawn camp and completely wipe the enemy team every single spawn, and theres nothing you can do.

compared to a 15 year old game like bo1, its a downgrade in every way. no wonder cod is dying.

extremely boring.

pvp barely works, the story barely exists, enemies are copy pasted everywhere, and the building is mid. just play rust instead.

one of the best games ever made, only bested by mafia 2.

stunningly, hilariously awful. ill keep it short because this review is barely worth my time.

the good:
-the gameplay is pretty good
-character designs are kinda cool

now for the bad:
-the dialogue is some of the cringiest ♥♥♥♥ I’ve heard in my life
-i’ve read better stories in minecraft fan fiction
-many of the animations feel like they’re ripped from nexon zombies
-the graphics are poor, and the game has no business running as poorly as it does
-the privacy policy is downright ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane

pass unless youre a destiny/warframe fanboy.

just a good fricking game, brought out my childhood wonder like nothing else in recent memory

the hype is true if you like the formula, which is very mass effect-esque. there are problems with crashing and general bugginess however.

kinda fun, but still utter trash atm. insanely imbalanced and the asymmetric gameplay is terribly executed. hackers everywhere, some maps are good, others absolute ass. not really worth playing atm.

The story, the writing, the choices, the attention to detail, they're all absolutely unparalleled.

However, save scumming is absolutely required in this game on any difficulty above easy. Unfortunately its not because the game is hard, but because the combat is absolutely atrocious. Getting one tapped on my first mob fight in faerun without even getting a turn in is not my idea of a "good time". And unfortunately its not something that can be fixed by getting gud, the combat is pure RNG and if you're not save scumming + running a meta build I'm pretty sure some of the boss fights are impossible on higher difficulties due to RNG. The combat isn't even rewarding (a la dark souls), it just sucks.

And yeah, I know they're just following the 5e ruleset, but that doesn't mean it was a good idea. Generally a DM doesn't want to kill the entire party in the first 10 minutes.

Still recommend because of the writing, but the combat sucks ass.
