Terrible experience overall.

keybinds are broken, loading bugs hanging on a black screen for ages despite good hardware and installed on an SSD. game has that 'UE5 look' and Frame Gen is forced on by default

The crafting mechanic is clunky and tedious to engage with, dragging and dropping to craft items is not fun. Having to drag open doors, cabinets and draws like Amnesia to loot and navigate the world adds a small but painful hiccup to every single action you take. The simple act of aiming down sights is a two step affair, in this game you have to 'ready' the gun by holding right click then 'aim down sights' with middle mouse button. wild stuff. And on top of it all every environment set-piece is only a few rooms big so you'll be constantly loading in and out of areas more than Deus Ex Invisible War I thought we were passed this style of design, even HL2 the game that inspired industria knew never to impede the flow of a level with loading screens.

If this really is meant to be a demonstration of the game then I don't have much hope for the full release being much better.

Waiting for the devs to patch the game and add AK-47's so we can finally fight the spiders, cant fight the spiders without an AK-47, please add an AK-47 and legal tactical nuclear bombs for personal self defence against threats to civil liberty, i.e:
- ORB SPIDER (Araneidae)
- WOLF SPIDER (Lycosidae)
- LADY BEETLE (Coccinellidae)

UPDATE: The Developers™ are making, or have made at the time of this review, "GROUNDED 2" the sequel to the AK-47less game GROUNDED, if indeed this game is GROUNDED in reality then one would assume an AK-47 would be in the game?! interesting. Hopefully this was just some clerical error due to the loss of source code so they had to remake the game from the GROUND up to address fan concerns over the lack of AK-47.

If you only play this solo I would say don't bother, I don't know what the devs are smoking, but this is a 3-player co-op to enjoy this game. The target prioritisation on the b.r.a.i.n.s are utter garbage and seeks only to waste your time completely ignoring the pilot's marked targets a good 50% of the time.

That said if you can con some friends into playing it like I did >:) it's insanely worth it kinda 10/10 sleeper hit
