Cosmonious High takes the VR mechanics that Owlchemy Labs has developed for their beloved games of the past (Vacation Simulator 1 & 2, Job Simulator, Rick and Morty) and combines them into a fun narrative. Mechanics are added in a way that grows on top of earlier mechanics and brings you back to revisit parts of the high school you've already been to. The story is familiar, but that's not a complaint. I wouldn't have changed the ending reveal at all. It's perfect.

There's plenty to do, but little reason to stay in the world once you've completed everything. There aren't many mini-games worth coming back to. That said, I think the game is compelling and fun enough to deserve at least one replay.

The game is a metaphor you can play in a short amount of time. There are also plenty of achievements and a few diverging paths to help with replayability.

Parts of this interactive book may feel like redundant propaganda to die-hard Half-life fans, but there's plenty of never before seen behind the scenes content to explore and enjoy whether you've played Half-life:Alyx yet or not.

A puzzle platformer that will leave your jaw on the floor when you reach the end. Few games ever reach a level of polish as this.

In 1994 when I was seven years old I went over to the house of a girl I was desperately in love with. On her family computer was a game. I didn't recognize it, but I love the art style. She moved the mouse and clicked on, "Look at" in the bottom menu, then clicked on a door. The character walked over to the door and said, "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥'." We laughed.

I moved away a few months later and thought about her and that game for years. When I went to computer stores I would search through the game ailse for a game that looked like what she was playing. A few years later I finally found the game in a Lucas Arts adventure pack. It was called, "Day of the Tentacle." I bought it, played it, loved it, and thought of the girl I once loved.

Today point and click adventure games are still my favorite genre and Day of the Tentacle is the best of them all.

This is a really fun game with no instructions. It's pretty hard to get wrong. Just follow your instincts and you'll be fine. I'd wait for a really solid sale on it, though. It's a very short experience, probably ~40 minutes. If you can get it for around $2.50 or less, jump on it and enjoy.
