Love the series, and love the game too. I might be a bit biased but I didn't find any fault, unlike some other players. I have already completed it on another platform, so please ignore the stats.

Great game. One of my favorite game series of all time. Already completed it earlier on another platform, hence the stats.

It's a nice game. Very story heavy, not a lot of gameplay, but that's what it was going for, it I think it worked well. The game has a lot of choices that impact the outcome, and the story is quite good, enough that it might be worth playing it again to experience the different outcomes.

One thing I really hated is that sometime the "choice text" didn't give you any clue about what is it that you are choosing to do, making it easy to make the incorrect choices. Also, Aiden's movement could be so much better, but at least it's not unplayable. The controls in general are quite bad.

Overall, it's a good "cinematic" game, that could have been executed better. Regardless, it's enjoyable and worth trying. Maybe just wait for a discount.

Decent game with decent puzzles. Worth a try for the puzzle lovers.
I wish that the puzzles had some random factor to them. Replaying as the other character is not fun as the puzzles are exactly the same.

Decent puzzles. It's quite short, but that was expected.
Though not the best asymmetric co-op puzzle, I am intrigued enough to try Unboxing the Cryptic Killer now.
It's free, so give it a shot.

I played it because I loved Control so much, and it's set in the same universe. Despite being a much older game, and the fact that I usually don't play horror games, like at all, I actually loved it.
It's very unique, and there's little to dislike about it. Despite it's age, I don't think I have seen anything like this in my limited experience. The setting, the game mechs, and most importantly the way the story is told and game progression work, I loved it. And I like Poets of the Fall, which are featured in this game too, so that was a great bonus.

So, anyone looking for a nice solid game, with great story and an overall nice gameplay, I highly recommend it. There's no need to think twice.

PS: It's probably the only game where I played the whole DLCs. They are short and to the point. Very well done for DLCs, the way they are meant to me. You won't miss anything important, but they do give a little closure on the story and kind of set it up for Alan Wake 2.

PPS: Just noticed the tons of bonus content in the installation directory. It's worth a look.

Played it on GOG and loved it so much I had to buy it here as well. One of the best games I have played in maybe the last decade. It's unique, story rich, great action, well balanced, and just fun to play. The OSTs are just amazing (by Poets of The Fall).
Eagerly waiting for the sequel.
