My favorite survival game so far. More MMO and less survival, thank you. Combat so far is really fun. I haven't tried PvP combat yet, that will be the real cincher; but I'm guessing its gonna be smooth.

I have really enjoyed this game. It has good controller support (I HATE click to move) a great dodge mechanic and CO-OP on the same PC! Great for steam machine.

The story isn't too bad so far. The motif of Vikings and frost giants really brings it home for me. The combat is good as well.

You have 2 sets of weapons and your weapons dictate your *special* skills.

BIGGEST CON: It doesnt support 3840 rez. It did when I logged into it at first but ever since I opened the settings I haven't been able to get the hi rez back.

BIGGEST PRO: Couch CO-OP

Changing this game to reccomened ONLY because of the fun this game can be and the community has improved as well as the matchmaking.

I really, really, really like this game. The Highlander has been released and I love it!

Revenge is in a much better place now and feels very worthwhile.

WHAT I DO NOT LOVE:
Horrid and consistent UI bugs:
Losing complete UI
Losing the ability to lock onto target
Chat F9 change
Crashes when you plug in headphones during a match.


ON TOP OF THAT they release a feature to PUNISH AFK'ers which I would normally be all about, HOWEVER, imagine having a gamebreaking bug that crashes your UI or won't let you lock on to enemies and then leaving and restarting game to... That's right. CAN'T JOIN MATCH FOR 10 MINUTES.

Otherwise a really solid game. If they would just fix this absolutely common ♥♥♥♥ then we would be g2g.

PS Add a REPORT BUG feature in your game if you're going to release beta style releases. Makes it all the more frustrating that you can't even report these types of things immediately.

UPDATE 4/17/17:
I'm changing my opinion of this game to NOT RECCOMENDED and here's why:

Since the revenge nerf this game has turned into: "Get your whole group and gang up against one person."

I'm not sure about everyone else, but the matchmaking has gotten WORSE for me since the patch and now I am consistently getting lag during fights.

P2P is the real enemy in For Honor and it is rearing its ugly head. The gameplay is still SUPER FUN, but it doesn't trump the frustration of poor connections and now a meta that encourages zerg mode...

Hoping that they will adress the revenge balance again, but here's to really hoping they get real servers.

I will come back once they release new heroes and look forward to a better experience.

This game can be REALLY fun, when its not laggy, configuring session, or full of players talking s@#$ and leaving the game so you can reconfigure session again.
