An **incredibly** hesitant reccomendation. The first four episodes are great and well told, but episode five is possibly the single worst tire-fire of an ending of any videogame I've ever played. Go in at your own risk, but don't expect any decent resolutions to anything - and definitely don't expect your choices to matter.

Fair warning: the PC port is borked and requires quite an amount of jigging around to work correctly. That said, once you do, it's the best DMC game by far. Highly technical action with a very high skill ceiling topped off with what it's sequels don't have: a decent story and level design.

Doesn't reach the level of the original, but gets pretty close in a number of ways. A strong conclusion to what has become one of my favorite RPG franchises.
