Played a couple of games:

POSITIVE - Some very well implemented ideas.

* City / town system makes more sense. Tile expansion without workers is much better, consistent and fun.
* Diplomacy is greatly improved.
* Commanders are fun and incorporate another dimension.
* Era evolving civilizations. Rome can become Spain, that can become Mexico.

NEGATIVES - The game has been made more casual.

* The era system, while a decent idea, is terribly implemented. I had a huge army in the expansion/discovery era that disappeared when moving to the final era. Same with all the gold I had. This basically renders all the eras before the last one, completely useless. You also lose resource allocations, great works, etc. The legacy points that you can spend in the next era is close to useless compared to how much you lose.
* Religion lacks depth, in Civ VI you could have a parallel religion war with many different type of units. In Civ VII you can convert cities and rural area, you do that in 1 era, with 1 type of unit, with a click, and it has almost no impact on anything.
* Great works are collected, but very little impact, lost when you move to another era. No concept of tourism.
* Great personas have very little impact.
* The limit on how many cities you can have is too restrictive. Maps are waaaay to small and caped to Standard.
* There is a hard limit on turns.

Conclusion is: they are moving to a casual game without all the stuff I like from the Civ series. Almost feels like reverse innovation, few good ideas, with too many things taken out. Is like they are trying to tell players how the game has to be played, instead of leaving players with a canvas to play however they want. No doubt that obsession with how many games are finalized drove many of these changes.

The game as definitely improved.
But you cannot just release trash and ten expect people to pay for DLCs day one.

- Day and night cycles are ♥♥♥♥. Just delete this. Perception in the player is that Super Mario offers you more freedom.
- Worst drifting experience in any racing game so far. It's easier to drift in real life than in the game. This is an achievement, so congrats.
- Cop mechanic is forced and useless. And many times (like in races), plain random and annoying.

One of the worst games I've played recently. The ambientation is awfull. The history weird, the coold things from the mafia II, lost. The optimization, horrible, the graphics nasty.

Don't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ buy it.

This is an alpha. It needs serious bug fixing. All kind of bugs, in less than an hour:

- I can't start the campaign because the part of the map where I should click does not work.
- Controls are seriously a crap.
- When you put the "fast mode" it lags, not fluid at all.
- Even the windowed mode is a fail.

Ah! by the way is too similar to the TransOcean I, now you have bulk carriers and liquid carriers.

Doesn't worth the price. Don't pay more than 2-5€ for that or wait until the price goes down. I'm going to ask for a refund.

♥♥♥♥. ♥♥♥♥ graphics, bugs everywhere, etc. Dont buy it, I would want to remove it from my steam account, it's giving me cancer to watch it on the list.
