Played the og version on 360 back in the day, been meaning to replay it for a few years now. but now that the sequel has finally come out its time to do the replay! :) Still a good time so far! however i will say this has been sitting back logged in my vault on steam for years and i have no idea why the price is 60$ again besides the fact the sequel is coming out and they are doing a cash grab on a 13 year old game.

I've been playing this game for well over a decade, bought it again after it launched on steam. what kept me coming back was the super active modding community the game has built over the years. play this game just for that. Thanks to Z3rox's pack, Pegasus chronicles, Thrawn's revenge and so many other mod packs that have kept it fresh. :)

I played this game years ago when it first came out. one sitting beat it. never till that point had i been so moved by a games setting design and theme so much as this one. it will always hold a special place in my heart for making me feel something for the characters

I got this game during one of the Seasons sales * don't remember which one though :P* and i let it sit in my libary for a good month before installing it *GG college* But sense then i've come to realize that was a mistake. this game is a great take on a well thought out blend of 4x/Hero based tactical Strategy * the addition of the RPG level up system for your heros is very much welcomed and adds that little something to the game.*.

if you like the like of Endless legend or Civ game then you should add this to your libary. * Also just pay the 5$ more fore the deluxe edition, while it adds one scenario *a pretty good one* it give access to the 2 hours worth of soundtrack which is excellent. Honest rating. 8.5/10 * rating doesn't include multiplayer or the two expansions*

I loved bastion and wanted to try this game out as soon as it came out. i just picked it up and in about 1 and half of playing i can already tell im going to love this game till the end. the combat is fantastic, with the tactical combat being my pref way of dealing with the process. the art style is beautiful and the soundtrack is amazing. Also so far the upgrade system is incrediblely in depth for what abilities you can use and how to make those abilities more powerful. ( which was one of the thing bastion did lack, it had alot of variety of weapons for combat just not a ton of depth to it.) will make additions as i go through the game to this review. but know this, it is well worth the money that i paid for it and im going to enjoy every dang minute.
