I got drooled on after spitting alcohol in the nice lady's face. 10 out of 10.

Finished the game, and had a blast with it. Lots of good factory building gameplay and an excellent story. Definitely worth it for the price.

Early Access Review
It's chill and enjoyable with a lot of neat touches. It's a fun game to just enjoy without stressing out grinding or worrying about time.

You might even say this is a great game to "Sit Back and Relax (Award)".

Early Access Review
It's fun. 4 player co-op goodness with a lot of neat mechanics for traveling around. It's early access, so there's definitely limits to the number of mission types, enemies, etc, but it's well worth the $20 and the development team seems very responsive and receptive to feedback. This looks to be a really good one to pop into here and there as they add new content long term. Obtaining the "Jump Shi*" achievement might just be the highlight of my gaming career.

It's not as challenging as Snowrunners or Mudrunners, but it's a nice balance of difficulty and accessibility. If you've played those, you know what to expect. No fuel or damage, but still similar enough with objectives.

I enjoy it a lot.

Other than Sid Meier's Pirates, the next best pirate game.

When you've dug yourself a hole that you just can't get out of... dig deeper.

(okay, don't keep digging deeper, you might explode)

It feels like a step backwards to me, and I'd rather just play 6. It feels like they rushed to get it out the door and left out a lot of core features that help make Civ what it is. I only tried it for about 30 minutes, and I just wasn't having fun with it. It's hard to put a finger on any one thing, and other reviews certainly go into much more detail about it, but for me the things that immediately stood out where:

1. Overall UI/menus just felt poorly thought through. I probably would've been fine with this, but it felt like they were again, rushed, rather than properly developed.

2. Combat/Armies seemed off to me. It's been a while since I've played 6, but it just felt like things were clunky here when attacking. My very first attack on an independent city, I defeated the forces and moved a unit in, but nothing happened. It stayed showing as the enemy colors, and there was no indication that it was going to either convert or be able to be razed/cleared. It was just odd.

3. On high graphics settings, things seemed fuzzy/blurry a bit, and not as crisp as the screenshots/videos showed. That could just be because I used the default high settings and didn't play with things.

Maybe I've just grown out of Civ a bit, but overall a very disappointing release and for the price, just not worth it right now to me. I refunded the Founder's Edition.

The last OMD I played was 2 and it was so long ago, I can't really compare to it or prior titles. I've done a few multiplayer matches (3p) and some single player. Game is fun. 3 person MP was a little rough, as it feels like we don't quite have enough barriers to place (I think 15 total, but SP I had 22). 1-2 more barriers pp would be nice. It also seems like you are more restricted in trap variety per person.

Even still, I've had fun with it and am enjoying the experience. It's challenging enough, and requires a bit of grinding upfront to upgrade traps and get access to better combinations of traps.

Hard to say if it's worth the $30 price tag to me without more time with it. I don't regret the purchase. I don't have any major complaints. I've had fun with it. It doesn't blow me away, it doesn't make me run for the hills (with orcs chasing me). Seems to be decent variety to the orc types and coordination is important in multiplayer.

If I had to put a number on it, maybe an IGN 7.

One of the best VR experiences out there. Hands down a ton of fun with friends and the regular DLC updates with new courses are excellent, and very reasonably priced. This is what VR should be. This is what a developer should be.

My one and only gripe is that my Steam account version and Quest store version aren't linked or connected, and I'd rather not buy all the DLC and do all the unlocks twice. When I'm home, I use quest link via wireless to Steam and it works great. When I'm traveling, I use the Quest store version, but have no DLC/unlocks as a result. I wish they'd sync the unlocks at least (even if the DLC wasn't synced).
