After finishing it, I jumped right back into it, to get better equipment and understand the game events even more. I was hooked for 2 days. The gameplay loop is addictive. The game starts slow and feels predictable(is quite predictable throughout too) but gets better, environmentally, mechanically, and character exploration-wise too. I had a ton of fun playing it and the survival horror aspect is well achieved. So, I'd definitely recommend.

This was my first time playing any point and click adventure so it was quite challenging for me to finish the puzzles. But honestly they were quite nonsensical at times, so don't feel bad if you need some help from a walkthrough.

Aside from all these issues, I looooooved the game. It was definitely worth my time. The story was a lot of fun, the characters were a lot of fun, and the dialogue and voice work really made my day. The voice acting is one of the best. This is the reason I would always come back to games like this or mgs1, who have really dated graphics but have great content. All in all, worth your time, carnal. Great game. <3

Man... I gotta say Ori and will of the wisps is the when I jumped in with this franchise as I saw my friend play it. I loved it because it evoked this beautiful feeling in me of nostalgia and love. Idk maybe this doesn't make sense but I loved it. Everything in this game comes together unexpectedly very well. The music, the visuals, the combat, the levels, like everything. I loooooove this. After playing this I immediately bought Ori and the blind forest. I WANTED MORE! Hahah!(I didn't play it because internet sucks and, well...backlog)

Well, if you like platformers, then surely pick this for full price if you can, or at least on sale.

Man, this game feels good after a while. Yeah the controls do kinda suck in the beginning but I suppose they are manageable. I love it because it is not all serious and ♥♥♥♥, but kinda funny and cringey, too, at times. The story really ain't that important so don't really think about it much but do consider the characters, because they are really fun.

The boss fights get wonky and weird because of the lack of movement, but still the design, and variety offered is quite fascinating. The games FEELS dated, but I didn't mind it. Loved it.
BTW be sure to check Ada Wong's part since it would answer any questions that main story might not have answered.

Pick it up, because it is quite fun, uhmmm probably on sale or for the full price, doesn't matter.

I liked it. It was a very beautiful game indeed.
But the dialogues and texts, not when serious issues are dealt with, felt quite lacking and less nuanced. The humor too didn't feel natural. The memes just don't feel like they carry enough weight to deliver a good joke. If the developer is planning to work on this in future, then I would love to see some more grounded and natural jokes. The memes feel forced.
Anyway, the serious talk was the highlight of the entire game imo. I loved how they talked it out and how both of them got an opportunity to open and grow. It seemed natural and nuanced here. "Pretty good" I could say.
I would definitely recommend this to someone who would like to know more about people who feel depressed. This could be a start to understand better and help those whoever are in need of it.

I loved this game. Blasphemous has an interesting combat system and can be compared to other similar metroidvania-style games such as Hollow Knight and Salt and Sanctuary(the ones that I have played of) but what these others games couldn't do was improved and implemented well by blasphemous. The resource management of Hollow knight, and the back tracking in Salt and Sanctuary were a big turn off for me. Both of the these things weren't enough for me to not play them but I never finished them. But I did finish Blasphemous and it did a lot of things right what these others games failed to do, imo.

The Music was amazing, so many themes struck me just right, y'know.

The pixel art and animation is beautiful. I loved how beautiful it looked and I couldn't help but take screenshots as soon as I saw them.

The bosses come in variety, although might not be very difficult but are definitely a lot of fun, both visually and gameplay wise.

The combat system isn't perfect, obviously, but is very good just like Hollow Knight, I guess. Parrying feels so good and satisfying that basically you are encouraged to do them more often. And other magic spells, or "prayers", are good too. Overall the combat system is fun, wouldn't be boring at all.

The only turn off I had was the platforming part of it. It just didn't feel right to me. The platforming was not fun, when sticking your sword in the wall or when dodging any inconvenience in your way and the meagre amount of portals(only five) just compounded the issue.

I couldn't grasp most of the story, lol, I guess I'll have to look on youtube for it. But seemed interesting and I'm definitely gonna look it up.

So yeah, I would definitely recommend it. 4/5
