I have around 800 games in my library, this is the single worst purchase I ever made on steam.
Like many of you, I know to avoid anything related to EA like the plague, but I still got this to play coop as it was on sale for a good price and I never tried a Dead Space game before. How it went:

Bought the game, installed and ran. Steam brings up EA play launcher which asks to link an EA account. I had an old account which the password apparently expired and required a reset password. EA never sends email. I create a new account directly from EA website, at the end asks for verification code, also don't send the email. I read online that somehow the absolute neanthertal responsible for the app tied confirmation emails to the Promo Email newsletter list so you have to put a checkmark on the "I wish to recieve promotional emails (...)" to receive confirmation codes, but I can't change this option so I create a third account and put a checkmark on this. But again they don't send verification code. I read so many posts about this and the only user side fix is wait until the caveman in charge of this somehow figures out it's not working properly and fixes it, but the issue has been happening for years.

I tried customer support, it's a Beta AI chatbot, I exposed my problem clearly multiple times, the chatbot outputs a message about how to avoid phishing scams, I leave thumbs down feedback to help the AI bot improve, and the feedback doesn't work most of the times, it gives error message. I checked everywhere, on spam folders, on rules against domain, created new email from 2 other services to make sure it's not an outlook thing, checked server status on EA and they say services are OK, tried triggering the verification emails multiple times on diferent periods of the day on 3 diferent days, and nothing helps, verification code emails just don't come.

Never had such a bad experience and I have pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games in my library.
The only reason this game doesn't have even worse reviews here is solely because Steam has a 5 minute minimum playtime to be able to leave a review, and Dead Space 3 you open it, it opens the EA app and closes link to steam so it doesn't increment the playtime counter, but It has like a 5 second period where Steam counts time and I spammed the play button to reach 5 minutes just to leave this review.

EA can go ♥♥♥♥ themselves, I can only imagine they are using all the money they got from getting kids addicted to gambling to build a time machine to kidnap cavemen to work in their offices for cheap, because it's just not possible to fail every single step of the way, I didn't even manage to reach the step where they ban my account for no reason, which is the most common complaint it seems.

Can't recomend this, unless you already have a working EA play account

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games have been a staple in many gamers childhoods, but how well does it hold up to modern standards? It's complicated:

Quantity of Waifus (2/10):
Surprisingly, this skateboarding game doesn't offer many waifus. While you might expect to find them in a skating title, there are only a handful of elusive skater-girls scattered throughout the game, providing minimal waifu content.

Adaptability to a Literary Novel Format (4.5/10):
The game doesn't lend itself well to a literary novel format. While the gameplay is exciting, translating it into a novel might prove challenging. However, the character development and backstories of the skaters could make for an intriguing side story in a literary work.

How Professionally Useful it is Achieving 100% (4/10):
Reaching 100% completion in this game is an achievement worth mentioning on your CV, but it might not be as universally valuable as other accomplishments. It could demonstrate your dedication and problem-solving skills, though, showcasing your commitment to mastering a challenging task.

Teaching Real-life Skating Skills (7/10):
While Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 is no substitute for real-life skating, it does a remarkable job teaching the fundamentals of skateboarding. The game's tutorials and in-game mechanics can help you understand the basics, making it a decent training tool for aspiring skaters.

Playability on a Real Skate (1/10):
Surprisingly, the game is entirely unplayable on a real skateboard. Attempting to play while skating would likely result in disastrous consequences. It's much safer and more fun to experience the game from the comfort of your gaming setup.

Final Score: (6/10)

In conclusion, it's surprising that the game doesn't even attempt to explain who is Tony's "Pro Skater", but let's entertain a theory. What if the mysterious titular figure is none other than former U.S. President George W. Bush Jr? It's a far-fetched idea, yes, but it's not entirely out of the realm of reality that the former president could skillfully navigate both politics and half-pipes. In the end it was perhaps a clever choice leaving the titular character a mystery, as this as fueled a decades long debate within the community in an attempt to unveil the true identity of Tony Hawk's mysterious skater. Personaly my favorite theory is the previously mentioned Bush Jr., but there are also many preponents of other theories, such as Alex Jones being the mysterious skater (despite alegedly being too fat to skate), or even internet celebrity Asmongold according to many fans.
