It's time to cook.

One of, if not the best factory management games.

Let me preface this by saying that I have clocked in over a 100 hours back when it was on battlenet.

I bought this game back in the day, and I pre-ordered the forsaken digital deluxe edition, and I loved the campaign.
In fact, I loved all of the campaigns, and replayed them multiple times. I was never into the endgame content, the monotonous grind of finding a decent team for two hours, and doing a raid 5 times before the team breaks up and having to start the cycle again. The campaigns are what kept me coming back despite having all the raids unlocked, locked only behind the power level grind.
The original campaigns are no longer available, and each year more and more content is lost simply because the devs want an "evolving world".
The fact that content that you pay 50€ for can be taken away with you getting no more than the proverbial middle finger feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me, and is one of the reasons I stopped playing D2 alltogether.

the game has a crashing problem

The game itself is good, but the amount of Pay to Win is insane.
The first few games you will be matched against bots, a lot of games do this, so I'm not mad about that.
For the next five or so hours of playtime you will mostly be matched against beginners, with the occasional smurf or someone who bought a ton of lootboxes and got some good weapons.
At around 13 hours of playtime in (around player level 24) you will start to encounter more and more people for who at least two of the following points are true.
- Have too much free time, and use most of it to play and get better at this mobile port
- Have enough money to get every limited time item and level them to the maximum possible level, making them one-shot anyone that doesn't have high-level armor (or they just have rich parents)
- Have a racist username
- Has a Nazi swastika on a custom skin
- Is just a bot that shoots you through the map
- Either has speed or jump boost hacks or some item that gives them double jump and increases their speed
Bonus points if you encounter someone that fulfils 4 of these bullet points.

I was never a fan of limited-time items, and this game has them, the worst part about it is that they are contained in loot boxes, that only give you "parts" of the items, so if you wanted a specific item, you'd need to purchase loot boxes, until you roll the item enough times to allow you to "craft" the item.

Alright, that was a lot of bad, now let's get to the good...
The game runs smoothly, not once did I notice a significant lag spike during gameplay, this is something that mobile ports usually don't manage this, because a port is usually an afterthought.
The movement and gunplay itself is very enjoyable, there is a good variety of weapons and tools (grenades mines etc.) that offer you a decent variety when it comes to what you can play around with.
The campaign is decent, the enemies get strong a little too fast, but it's decent overall.
The selection of game modes is good and most of them have enough players to find a match decently fast (as of 25. 4. 2024).

Overall, I wouldn't recommend you actually start playing the game if you don't have nostalgia from playing it on a phone/tablet 10 years ago. Unless you know what the downsides are and why they exist you won't enjoy the game for much longer than 10 hours.

So, from about 20 minutes of playing this game my impression went from great at the beginning to pretty bad.
The reason for this is simple, you have no way to protect yourself from PAL "seeing you" while you move around the ship, especially when going to fix the oxygen.
The PAL "eye" next to the engine can see you even if you just slightly peek from the corridor if it's currently looking there, so going to fix the oxygen everytime you need to is pretty much impossible without it being there, or switching to said camera when walking to/from the oxygen room.
That's another thing, if PAL switches to a camera that can see you while you're walking you're just dead, or put back in the cockpit, no way around it...

The lights are pretty much useless besides giving you a clear sign as to whether or not you need to fix the oxygen/engines, which doesn't matter because the oxygen gives a clear audio indication when it's running, and if the engines aren't running then you can't run into asteroids (or at least I assume so). That leaves the lights with only one purpose, seeing the fuel you have left and the distance you need to travel... the two things that you can't affect in any major way.

The concept is great, but the execution is less then sub-par.

This game is what you get when you take someone who most likely isn't passionate about games, give them a bunch of random assets and a checklist of features and lock them in a room until they complete it.

Alright, here we have an excellent visual novel (VN), with a compelling story, lovable characters and amazing art and writing.
If you decide to play this VN and enjoy the story you will get about 7-9 hours out of it (based on my playtime), the story is heartwarming, at times also mortifying and overall it's amazing.
The writing, music and art that this VN has is of extremely high quality, and to top it off this experince is FREE! I mean what are you even doing reading the reviews, go and start the download!

Get ready to yell at your friends because they all try to play this team game solo while you do the exact same thing.

Just play it for yourself, it isn't much of a commitment and it's free... what have you got to loose that you've not already lost by reading this review?
