I am glad that I stuck with this game; I wasn't in love with it at first, but it continuously gained momentum. The art style, the storytelling, and the story itself are all beautifully constructed, and I would be lying if I didn't admit I got a bit teary towards the end of the game.

If you care about achievements at all, or even just replaying the game to see different branches, I would suggest making save points. There were some parts where I was curious about what would have happened if I'd chosen a different path, but now I'm not sure I want to commit to playing the whole game again, at least not right away.

It should probably be said that the content of this game is so dark (it contains references, direct and indirect, to addiction and child abuse) that it is probably impossible to tell this story in a way that is safe for everyone. There were a few moments that did not sit well with me, but the subject matter and humor at play are so complex that I don't think it would be responsible for me to write it off as poorly done; it's more that players should proceed with caution.

A simple graphical roguelike with a lot to love. The animations and sound effects have a lot of heart.
